Lost in a Winter Wonderland

I realize we've been MIA. I've thought of sitting down to post but well, there hasn't really been much to post about except winter. I thought I would save you all from the post about winter wonderland meaning "I wonder why anyone chooses to live in any place where winter is so long, cold and white". Doesn't sound like a very positive post does it?:) So with that I'll just let the pictures speak for themselves.

There were many days spent making the snowbanks along the driveway higher.
I had to dig a space for Macy in the backyard
Aiden had Star student week in Jan. Here he is reading a story to his class and him with his teacher.
The only documentation I have of Valentines Day. John was actually sick this year and it was a really busy week so we didn't even have a nice dinner together. I had pink pancakes with pink whipped cream and strawberries, bacon and shirley temples with the kids for dinner:)

Now bring on the spring! It's coming, I can feel it:)
I guess I should also point out that this is not what it looks like right now. All of the snow has melted. These pictures were all taken in January and February.
